Albrechtsburg Castle
This Gothic castle is located on a hill above the Elbe River. Originally, it was established as a wooden fortress in 929 by King Henry I. Between 1471 and 1524, Arnold von Westfalen transformed the structure, creating a castle. This architectural gem is noted as the first castle ever built in Germany.
